Minturn’s 5th Annual Barstool Races take place SATURDAY, MARCH 7th, from 12 noon – 3 pm.

The entry fee ($50) goes to funding MCF’s community programs.
If you’d just like to attend and cheer on the competitors – the event is free to the public!

Join Minturn’s finest for the 5th Annual Barstool Races on Saturday, March 7th from 12-3 pm, benefitting the Minturn Community Fund.
Cheer as teams from up and down the valley compete for the coveted “Golden Barstool” and bragging rights for a whole year! Free to the public, the event will be action-packed with racing entertainment that will keep you laughing from start to finish!

This event runs on the blood, sweat, and tears of dedicated volunteers. Want to help out, just let us know!
RACE DETAILS
Teams of can register in one or both categories, “Bustling Barstool” or “Anything Goes”.
Each team registration is $50 per event and all proceeds benefit the Minturn Community Fund programs. In Minturn, we don’t like too many rules, but we also like to live, so here they are:

All team racing members must wear a helmet while on the course

All barstools or other sledding apparatus must be attached to skis or snowboards
-
All racing members must be able to “ride” on the apparatus

Team entering the “Bustling Barstool” category must have a minimum 27” high barstool as a main element of the sled
-
Teams entering the “Anything Goes” category must have…..well, anything goes
